Recently, College Board conducted a research saying 41% of high school seniors consider going to a university close to home in result of the economic conditions. Students aren’t the only ones that are feeling the heat. Schools like University of Delaware have reported an out-of-state applicant decline of 40% and an increase of 5-10% of in state students. Despite the numbers, many students still flock to go to out-of-state schools, fleeing their hometowns and embarking on a new adventure. They have the their minds set to go out of state, and so do we.
