It’s not easy being homesick

Nobody said going away from home was going to be easy, especially if you’re fresh out of highschool moving thousands of miles away from home. Its okay though because now you will never be alone thanks to this site. Coming soon to this site will be a page dedicated to cure the classic case of homesickness with a dose of commentary from people around your hometown, tips on how you cure you’re homesickness, and rest up on how to fight this cureable emotion of homesickness.

Out of state. Mind set.

Recently, College Board conducted a research saying 41% of high school seniors consider going to a university close to home in result of the economic conditions. Students aren’t the only ones that are feeling the heat. Schools like University of Delaware have reported an out-of-state applicant decline of 40% and an increase of 5-10% of in state students. Despite the numbers, many students still flock to go to out-of-state schools, fleeing their hometowns and embarking on a new adventure. They have the their minds set to go out of state, and so do we.
